The Old Brewery Peroni, unique historical place of its kind in the capital, we can say that living in the odor of sanctity. The hosts via S. Marcello, who, careless and rushed the passer, it may seem one of the many narrow streets of Rome. Its cobblestones, however, tell stories of martyrdom and miracles. Intended, originally, to Catabulum, the Roman station of items where the horses were hospitalized and the cars of the mail carriers and where it was subjected to the most degrading jobs, the pontiff S. Marcellus took the time its sacredness. On the ruins of the stables was erected a church dedicated to the Holy Pontiff Martyr with the facade on the opposite side of the street and from which it takes its name.
