PLAN YOUR TRIP=
India with HornbillFestival- 21N/22D

Arunachal Pradesh and Nagaland

The two States, located in the extreme northeast between Bhutan, Tibet and Burma, were until 1995 "terra incognita" and are still among the least visited regions of India. Slowly they open a controlled number of foreign visitors. In the vast forests on the holy river Brahmaputra numerous ethnic groups who speak very different languages and a completely different culture than the rest of India belong to live. Even today, hang many hill tribes unswervingly to their traditional ways of life. A highlight of this trip is the visit of the Hornbill festival, which is held in early December in Kohima every year.
