Award-winning performer Melissa D'Agostino takes audiences on a solo adventure into the world of mermaids, crones, Disney princesses and planning a wedding before finding the groom.
In collaboration with top Toronto artists, Melissa plunges into the wild world of female stereotypes to explore traditional attitudes toward relationships, happiness and romance and how they have evolved and degenerated through access to the Internet, social media and technology.
There will be one showing (only!) of this new, adventurous piece after a week-long residency at the Harbourfront Centre.
The amazing creative team includes:

Adam Lazarus - Dramaturg
Monica Dottor - Choreography
Matt Campagna - Motion Pictures/Projections
Waylen Miki - Original Music
Sandy Plunkett - Stage Management
HATCH is Harbourfront Centre's annual performing arts residency programme. As an audience member, you play a vital role in the creative process, assisting artists in bringing these new visions to life.
Each HATCH presentation is followed by a conversation where you can engage and interact with the artists. We also host post-performance receptions where you can discuss the work with the entire creative team and other audience members. Your presence and feedback are not only welcome, but highly encouraged.
