An Uptown Chicago loft becomes a breeding ground for Millennials looking to change the world. Self-identified geniuses, cybervigilantes, hacktivists and anarchists cast off the laws of the land as they attempt to alter Humanity’s fate. As they plot against enemies and build complex data schemes, reWILDing Genius asks how far is too far in our quest to save us from ourselves.
Featuring Will Cavedo, Caitlin Chuckta, Sarah Gitenstein, Evan Linder, Morgan McNaught, Wes Needham, and Stephanie Shum
with William Boles (Scenic Designer), Sarah Hughey (Lighting Designer), Curtis Cassell (Costume Designer), Nick Kawahara (Sound Designer), Jenny Pinson (Properties Designer), Kent Cubbage (Projections Designer), Chris Chmelik (Dialect Coach), Jesse Roth (Dramatrug), Geno Franco (Production Manager), Christiopher Kristant (Technical Director), Sarah Collonge (Stage Manager), Ben Kaye (Assistant Director), William Glick (Script Supervisor), Chris Fowler and Liz Sharpe (understudies), Shawn Bowers (Artwork), and Patriac Coakley (Photography)
reWILDing Genius is performed as part of Steppenwolf Theatre Company’s Garage Rep 2014: three productions presented in rotating repertory from some of Chicago's most innovative storefront theatre companies.
