[ 18+ Party // Full Bar for 21+]
Known for collaborating with top DJ talents like Steve Aoki, Diplo, and more, LA native Deorro has also amassed an impressive number of original productions since he first started out 2 years ago. He'll be tearing it up at Anthem on Friday, April 4!
SkekTek and Souljunk both had solid solo careers before they met, with over 17 years of combined experience behind the decks at events large and small. Mutual respect for one another's skills led to a tag set at Pangaea in Bowling Green in April of 2012. A year later, the two artists officially combined their talents into a tag duo, proving the old adage that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. From Backcountry Beatdown's debut at the packed out MOVE 1 Year Anniversary party, they've rocked crowds with their fiercely energetic sets, and have been known to include as many as six genres in a set. Each throws his own taste and style into the mix, resulting in sets that are constantly moving and taking the crowd on an exhilarating journey through bass music. When you step off the dancefloor drenched in sweat, you'll know you were just on the receiving end of a Backcountry Beatdown.
GRiMETiME (KHAOS x Forte Forte)
GRiME TiME is a collaboration of Cody Guynn (Khaos) & Stephen Schaffer (Forte Forte) that recently just started in back in December 2013 as the two producer/DJs decided to combined their love for heavy bass music. They brought their passion for electronic music and their talents together to create a duo group called GRiME TiME. As 90’s kids, Cody and Stephen grew up in a heavy hardcore and metal scene, taking from the numerous bands they listened to and supported the melodic vocals, heavy breakdowns, and high energy shows. Cody and Stephen decided to transfer over that style into their own twist on electronic music. As a testament for the love of the bass heavy electronic scene, the two are on a mission to bring the best bass influenced music throughout all of Tennessee. As GRiME TiME continues to put in hours of work in the studio, expect some big sounds coming from Cody and Stephen in 2014.
From the first bass drop in a club back in Germany, Papa Bear was hooked on Electronic Dance Music(EDM). Once back stateside and in Tennessee some years later, he stumbled back on his love, EDM. Being influenced by some of the greats such as Bad Boy Bill, Richard "Humpty" Vission, and DJ Dan to name a few, Papa Bear took the natural next step in his personal evolution. He went from being a party kid out on the dance floor, to the engineer behind the decks makin people dance. Not long after stepping behind the decks, he took control of one of the hottest groups in middle Tennessee, Electronic Assault. This vaulted him into the forefront of the scene in Tennessee. It wasn't long before he was networking with other DJs and crews in Mississippi, New Orleans, Louisville, and Owensboro, KY, and became a resident DJ with Tennessee EDM. Papa Bear has opened for some great names like Angel Alanis, DJ Shortee, Jen Lasher, Tommie Sunshine, Lady Foursquare, Bro Safari, Dougal, Gammer, Kevin Energy, and the list goes on and on.
