In Motion presents PROGRESS
SEATTLE'S BEST TRANCE
PROGRESS is back Seattle, for a special night at Club Contour.
Friday May 23, 2014.
For this Session of PROGRESS, In Motion is bringing Some of Seattle's top Trance and Progressive DJs together.
Featuring: JOHNNY MONSOON
JOHNNY MONSOON (USC, Majik Music)
After several years of hard work, Johnny has become one of the US’s brightest up and coming trance DJ’s. From an opening set where you’d hear a melodic progressive sound, to a peak hour set full of uplifting euphoric trance, he continues to push the envelope night after night. You can find his live sets being shared in online forums and airing on internet radio stations all over the world. He had his own show on c89.5fm (one of the most popular electronic radio stations in the nation) for over 2 years. He has a podcast series on iTunes called “The Sound of Trance” that is consistently ranked in the top 25 audio podcasts and is one of the most popular on all of iTunes. With roughly 120,000+ downloads per episode and growing, it's clear that people all over the world are taking notice. He’s now spending most of his free time in the studio working on taking that step up towards the next level.
He’s been hand-picked to open directly for the likes of Tiesto, Paul Van Dyk, Armin Van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, Sander Van Doorn, Markus Schulz, Paul Oakenfold, ATB, Above & Beyond, Blank & Jones, Kyau & Albert, Judge Jules, Eddie Halliwell, Christopher Lawrence, George Acosta, Morgan Page, Tom Novy and Jimmy Van M to name a few.
JASON LEMAITRE (DJ4LIFE)
Jason LeMaitre was the EDM resident of Trinity Nightclub for 8 years, where he played every Saturday night. His weekly event became a staple of the Pacific N.W. dance scene under the name "Soft Option Saturdays".
Far from being just another DJ, Jason LeMaitre is first and foremost an accomplished purveyor of exceptionally good times. Jason has successfully combined his two greatest passions-a love for music and a desire to please-with his instinctive ability to throw unforgettable parties. The result has been Jason's well deserved ascendancy to a position of DJ prominence in the Seattle music scene over the past 8 years.
Artists as varied as John Digweed, Chris Lake, ATB, Paul Van Dyk, Sharam, and the Black Eyed Peas personally request Jason's signature blend of melodic, rhythm based grooves to enhance any show....quickly building him a following outside of Washington state as well: His rotating appearances in San Francisco, Las Vegas, Portland, Denver, Chicago and Los Angeles keep his itinerary comfortably busy. We are excited to have Jason come to another night of Progress.
WEB (In Motion, Progress, WEB Recordings, PLAY>Sat, madcow)
In 2002, Seattle local, DJ WEB aka Eric Weber (one of Seattle's Premier mobile DJs of commercial top 40 music) chose to explore other genres of music and move completely into the Electronic music scene. As he worked his day job; he traveled extensively while promoting himself and giving out his promo CDs. After a short stay in Tokyo; he returned to Seattle. He joined promotion company Madcow in Seattle and became a regular at shows such as Kandyland ; A Midsummer Night's Rave, and Carpe Noctem.
