First Italian Open Competition accredited by the Kansas City Barbecue Society!
Barbecue pleasure, the show dedicated to the ritual of grilling, organize, in collaboration with BBQ4All, the first "Italian Championship Barbecue", the only Italian competition "Open" dedicated to barbecue and officially sanctioned by KCBS - Kansas City Barbeque Society.
The competition will be held in Perugia June 13 to 15, during the second weekend of the event, to seal the growth path taken by the first Italian festival entirely dedicated to the worship of the barbecue, conceived and organized by the Agency and ConsulTravel Sedicieventi.
Addressed to all Italian and international team of passionate cooking at the BBQ, the Italian Championship Barbecue marks a significant turning point for the movement of the barbecue Made in Italy. For the first time ever will be Italy, with its wealth of culture, style and culinary know-how to host the guru of barbecue world.
The competition will take place in compliance with the rules drawn up by KCBS, a nonprofit organization founded in 1986 in America, home of the BBQ, to promote and teach the secrets of barbecue in purity, low & slow. The Group currently has more than 17 thousand members and signed over 400 races in the world made according to a specific format for evaluation and scoring.
Participants will be able to test their culinary skills in the 4 traditional categories of the contest: chicken (chicken), ribs (rib), pork (pig) and brisket (brisket). The dishes will be judged by a jury of American and European experts who will assess the entries according to specific criteria: taste (taste), appearance (appearance) and tenderness (softness).
The winners will be awarded a major prize money of $ 4,000.

The Italian Barbecue Championship is one of the great innovations of the second edition of Pleasure Barbecue, even more rich and compelling, which this year will take place June 6 to 15 in Pian di Massiano of Perugia.
For the 10 days of the event promises to be a calendar "fire" from the Workshops for children and adults with guided tastings, from the presentation of projects to revitalize the chain Umbrian native to the discovery of the great Italian farms.
