1700 - Brazilian 'Zouk' Dance Workshop

What is Brazilian Zouk? Brazilian Zouk is a dance that developed from the Brazilian dance Lambada. The dance is now combined with a variety of music, including Caribbean Zouk music, . Zouk, meaning ‘party’ in French Creole, resembles the Latin dance style merengue in the sense that it is danced whilst standing in very close proximity to your partner.

Junior Arto (Brazil)
Joanna Przybylska (Poland)

1900 - concerts

Quilombo perform Brazilian and Caribbean songs with influences from African music. Together, with their musical knowledge and experiences, they combine to produce a beautiful tropical spectacle.

The musicians are:

Junior Arto (Brazil) - acoustic guitar and vocals
Tomas Celis (Mexico) - percussion and vocals
Andreas Van Hameren (Holland) - bass
Viktor Cordoba (Spain) - Violin
Daniel Gady (Brazil) - cavaquinho and vocals.

Gravity plays energetic and melodic rock music with emotional lyrics and strong live performances. The band's musical influences range from Nirvana and Sum 41 to The Smashing Pumpkins and Yellowcard among others.

The line-up is:

Daniel Medina (Spain) – vocals and guitar
Lukasz Wierzbicki (Poland) – bass
Grzegorz Malski (Poland) - drums

2130 - Singing for Fun en Espanol (Pauza in Garden) FREE!

It's the group with the self explanatory name. SFF began in 2003, winning many prizes and experiencing many memorable times.

What's it about? Singing (naturally) for Fun (because having fun is important)

The SFF experience is that people are happy and more open when they sing with others. Much better than Karaoke - we all sing together and no one can hear you or cares if you miss a note. If we have live musicians we are happy, otherwise we run music off a laptop and project lyrics on screens. its a skill to be able play and entertain all kinds of music, but we never sing anything prejudiced. We are internationalist in outlook.

With the Latin flavour of Xparty, SFF will have you pumping out great tunes en Espanol!
