This year’s festival will celebrate the 60th anniversary of the birth of rock and roll by presenting two headline shows starring the top two artists paying tribute to Elvis’ early years. Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artists Cody Slaughter and Dean Z. Joining them on stage will be 2013′s South Carolina Elvis Festival Champion Ted Torres, 2013 Lake George Elvis Festival Champion Travis Powell and 2013 Georgia and Pocono Mountains Elvis Festival Champion Michael Chambliss. Once again, our headliners will appear backed by the Change of Habit tribute band and the weekend will be hosted by Master of Ceremonies Irv Cass.
The festival will also feature a three-day preliminary to the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest in Memphis, held during Elvis Week in August. New this year, the contest will be an invitational event, and the producers will be inviting 20 of the world’s best Elvis Tribute Artists to compete. The South Carolina Elvis Festival champion will go to Memphis and represent our festival.
