St. Louis’s own beloved and nationally acclaimed Nina Ganci of SKIF International is back to present yet another beautiful presentation of her classic deconstructed and naturally fabricated knitwear. With presence in over a hundred boutiques in the US and Canada, SKIF has been able to remain a national knitwear staple while staying true to its hometown roots.
Harbison: Union Station, April 25
Since the brand’s inception last year, Charles Elliot Harbison of Harbison has already been recognized as a designer to watch by two of the industry’s leading voices—Vogue and the New York Times. Using a foundation of “contradictions,” Harbison blurs the lines between femininity and androgyny to produce beautifully constructed collections with refined artistry.
Novis: Union Station, April 25
Jordana Warmflash, the Washington University grad behind Novis, discovered the perfect recipe for whimsical elegance. Playing with unconventional textures and off-kilter prints in classic silhouettes, the emerging designer garnered enough recognition to land her the Ecco Domani Fashion Foundation Award in 2014.
Blue Bird Apparel: Union Station, April 25
Blue Bird Apparel is a St. Louis based young contemporary apparel brand, owned and designed by Anna Friss. Isreali born Friss, former commercial designer out of California and Chicago, now creates street style inspired collections for the fashion adventurous.
Dipped & Dyed: Union Station, April 25
Dipped & Dyed designer Genevieve Cortinovis believes fashion can be one of the best tools for preserving cultural traditions and fostering sustainable economic growth. Merging contemporary design and traditional production, each piece in Dipped & Dyed's collection is unique, and represents a culmination of artistry and artisanship.
Michael Drummond: Union Station, March 27 & April 25
St. Louis native and Project Runway veteran Michael Drummond is a Saint Louis Fashion Week staple, having shown in the last two previous seasons and wowing attendees at both shows. His Exquisite Corpse collections tell an eerie love story between texture and silhouette.
Devil City: Union Station, April 25
Devil City has always offered shoppers an original store experience, but now the fashion house is doing so through its own designs. Owner Deborah Fink has designed a modern line of vintage and pin-up inspired dresses, sets and bathing suits which are available for purchase in her University City showroom. Devil City pays tribute to the craftsmanship of years prior mixing old concepts with current lifestyles. In collaboration with her husband Brad Fink, Deborah also offers a children’s line.
