We will be taking a day outing to meet with Ajahn Jayasaro again on Sunday May 4th.
Ajahn Jayasaro is probably Thailand's most well known Western monk. Fluent in Thai and formerly the Abbot of the International Forest Monastery in NE Thailand, he has been ordained for well over 30 years. He should be well known to most of you - if not, Ajahn Google has lots more information!!
Especially for us A. Jaya. will give a dhamma talk in English
* Meet at Baan Aree before 8:30am
* Leave Baan Aree 9:00 am sharp
* Lunch in Pak Chong (each person pays individually for lunch)
* Dhamma Talk Q&A 1-2:30
* Leave for Bangkok 3 pm
This is a nice chance to meet some of the other yogis and meditators, and have a day out of Bangkok. The venue is a very nice setting in the mountains of Pak Chong. We have lunch together at a very charming restaurant in the cool countryside air, and then head to the parkland nearby for the talk. Lots of trees, views and flowers - all the things we miss being in Bangkok!
If you would like to join the mini vans for this trip you MUST book in via the main website here: http://www.littlebang.org/day-trip-to-meet-ajahn-jayasaro-may-2014/
Hitting 'Attend' in facebook does not reserve you a space.
Van fee is 440 baht (price increased due to a change in the law preventing use of 14 seat mini-vans - hence we will use the much more spacious 10 seaters instead).
You can deposit the van fee at any of our events prior to the date.
