Meet the Music:
DJ Cindel grew up around Chicago where his endless exposure to house music led to his love, and eventual practice, of producing it. Major influences such as Danny Tenaglia, Chus and Ceballos and Ralphi Rosario, along with his Puerto Rican roots, have helped mold his high-energy style into a successful career.
His big break came from a gig at Chicago’s Skybar, which led to a residency at Spin in Boystown where he held his own. He spent some time living in Miami playing other clubs such as Twist, Mekka and Euphoria. While in Miami also headlined the official White Party block party event held on Ocean Drive for two consecutive years.
Most recently, Cindel has made great strides by being named the WINNER of Matinee Las Vegas 2013 and Circuit Barcelona Festival 2013. Other noted credits include working alongside two-time Grammy nominee Tony Moran as a part of Chicago’s Freedom Revolution at Excalibur. He is the first DJ to play 2 consecutive years at Puerto Rico’s Choreographers Ball, and was a headliner at Fly in Toronto for their Memorial Day Weekend Military Ball.
You may also check him out on Beatport, Soundcloud, Podomatic, iTunes and Facebook!
Music has become a lifestyle for this young producer out of Chicago. Cachet is growing at a noticeable rate, already nesting her niche in the music scene with a 'drum heavy' style- though, it is nearly impossible to put a specific label on her music as a collective. Cachet is a scientist of sound, experimenting with different genres to create an overwhelming sensation of pleasure, slipping you into a daze every time. Her obsession with bass makes every inch of your organs quiver when the drops hit. Dabbling into the underground sounds and world music shows her indiscriminate style. Cachet is an impressionable personality and a necessity to the music world.
“Music is another world to me. It’s about the goose bumps you feel when the sounds resonate in your eardrums and the lives you affect when they slip into an unavoidable trance with the bass acting as their bodies’ tour guides. Even when you can’t hear the music, you can feel the deep poetic flow to the very end. My existence is translated into every instrumental tool being used to project a complete synapse of musical pleasure. The title of a producer barely covers the abilities my mind can accomplish, but if that is what will keep minds at rest, I am a producer for the dancing bodies and I will not cease.” -Cachet
