From April 25 to 27 three days to discover the MuCast, the Archaeological Museum of Castiglione Chiavarese.
It is located in the former location of the school Boulder, Via Giuseppe Mazzini 20, and is much more than a museum: it is a real journey of discovery of mining copper mining, which has characterized our territory from prehistory (3,500 BC) to the modern age.
The guided tour starts from the premises of the museum to discover the history of the copper mine through multimedia installations and exhibits from that, still today, is considered the oldest in Europe. It is a path compelling, fascinating and, through the history and culture of the territory of the Val Petronio.
The visit continues inside the Galleria XX Settembre Monte Loreto where, armed with a helmet, you can relive the atmosphere of the work in the mine. All this to the accompaniment of a guide that will tell both the natural and historical aspects of this important Archaelogical Site. The visit is also relevant and exciting for the children, who will also appreciate the ability to "touch" playing some prehistoric tools to guess the use in a multimedia museum.
The MuCast will be open on 25, 26 and 27 April. The opening hours will be from 10.00 to 13.00 and from 14.00 to 18.00.
