Club Bandangos-"A Rock and Roll club night for all you debauchery seeking, whisky swelling music lovers out there, A night to lose your mind and find your soul"
Well after ten long years its finally over for club bandangos and we have no intention of going quietly...
so we start the weekend off at THE SILVER BULLET a venue that hosted some great shows for us over the years with our farewell coinciding with the Debut for Black Noise...
Here is the line up!
THE LIPSTICK MELODIES
The Lipstick Melodies are a five piece rock and roll band from North London. The brainchild of Tottenham native Alan Wass, whose previous band Lefthand was signed to Alan McGee’s Poptones label and their debut EP was produced by Clash legend, Mick Jones.
The Lipstick Melodies’ debut single Hired Gun, a collaboration with and featuring Peter Doherty will be released in early 2012 and will be accompanied by a UK tour.
BLACK NOISE: Long Awaited Debut of This Hertfordshire Creation
Black Noise is the sound of two musical minds - Laurence René (former My Passion Frontman) & Nick Kozuch (guitar genius of The October Game). It is their exploration through the world in sound and comes crashing out like a cool sleek slice of dark pop music Completed live by Viking Giant Egill The Eagle On Drums & Josh Elgood on Synths & Sampling.
Billy’s sound was honed and launched in 2012 with a galvanized sound and a live show that combines euphoric samples, thumping drums, explosive guitars and insanely catchy melodies.
Within months of forming, the live show first hit the road eponymously as 'BB'.
Soon, the winning live formula secured Casablanco a headline slot at Secret Garden Party 2012 Temple Of Boom stage, main support for 2ManyDJs (Soulwax) in Ibiza and a place on the Wall Of Sound records 'End Of World UK Tour' in December 2012, as well as countless other UK shows with acts including Labrinth and Chase & Status. Months of hard work in the studio have given birth to a sure-fire hit guitar/dance crossover debut album.
With a solid reputation this Hackney Wick four piece who formed in 2011 are finally set to make it big thanks to Red Lips, a tantalizing rough-and-ready slab of roadhouse blues that meshes Howlin Wolf with Morrison Hotel-era Doors and signature ZZ-top. Vocalist and Blues Harp Player Simon Haithwaite Growls as his band - Guitarist Aaron Barber and Bassist Henry 'the Fish' Bishop and Drummer Harpal Mudhar - tear it up behind him.
