On Wednesday the 30th of April at 7pm, Leading Irish jazz guitarist Tommy Halferty and his trio featuring Dave Redmond on bass & Kevin Brady on drums will be launching their latest studio recording entitled 'Burkina'.
The launch will take place at Dublin's latest music venue The Bello Bar in Portobello right next to the Canal.
The album was recorded in May 2013 and was mixed by Dave McCune & the trio at The Ventry Recording Studios in Balbriggan. Burkina was Mastered by leading German sound engineer Thomas Schmidt in Munich. Artwork by Mark McCullough.
The album features original compositions penned by Halferty and includes new arrangements of tunes written by John Abercrombie & The Beatles.
The group will perform a selection of tracks from the album on the night at 8pm. The first 50 people to arrive will receive a copy of the album included in the admission.
