Grounded Theory for Social Justice
The Department of Psychology and Cognitive Sciences, University of Trento, in collaboration with University of Bologna, Department for Life Quality Studies, organizes the fifth edition of the International Summer School in Qualitative Research Methods in Education, this year focused on Grounded Theory for Social Justice, from 18 to 21 June 2014.
The program includes lectures as well as hands-on laboratory sessions in a cross-cultural learning environment and gives students the opportunity to discuss their own researches.
International Summer School in Qualitative Research Methods in Education is addressed to second year master students, PhD students, international graduate students, post doc or researchers who are interested in Grounded Theory Methods and/or social justice research oriented. Preferably with some training or experience in GTM.
Participants will be considered by their CV, qualifications and by their personal statement In addition, a good knowledge of the English language is required (B2 level), as well as a previous knowledge or experience of qualitative research.
The Summer School will take place in Rovereto (Trento); lessons will be held at the Department of Psychology and Cognitive Science from 9 to 13 and from 14 to 18 (on Saturday 21th the class will end at 13).
The course will be held in English.
