This is a workshop or training in visual development and is intended for all levels, beginners and advanced artists alike.
BEN WIJNEN, YOUR TUTOR SAYS
'The inspiring scenery of a hill in Northern Tuscany is the setting for this outdoor drawing workshop. And since we all have our own visual reality we will start sketching what captures our eye, switch point of view and investigate working with several materials like pencil, ink and or acrylic paint.
Since we cater to the needs of all I’ll be giving information about light, colour and composition to those beginners who need it. The more advanced have the opportunity to work more freely.
My intention is both to inspire you to deliver your strongest autonomous artwork possible and to give you sufficient baggage to carry on after this one week workshop. Materials like pencils, paper and drawing boards will be handed out, however we encourage you to bring your own brushes and pencils so that you
feel at ease while working. Classes are every day from 9 am-
5 pm with a break for a collective typical Tuscan lunch. There is,
of course, time to relax and unwind and enjoy the beauty of the surroundings.
