"From Darkness" is my debut full length solo record. Its 13 tracks clocking in at over an hour in length of rock instrumental music. It features the phenomenal players Ian Underwood on Bass guitar who is a Berklee graduate, and Sebastian Persini who absolutely kills it on drums.
My cousin Jay Rod also contributed piano and synth textures to a few tracks on the album to lay down the solemn atmosphere.
All songs were written and produced by me (Chris Fury), some songs and riffs from ideas years ago in college!! It was recorded at Vudu Studios in Port Jefferson NY, and my home studio, and also La Nave de Oseberg Recording studios in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
It was mixed by Mike Watts at Vudu Studios Port Jefferson NY (The Dear Hunter, Saliva, The American Fangs, As Tall As Lions, Hopesfall...)
Mastered by Troy Glessner in Seattle at Spectre Studios (Devin Townsend, August Burns Red, Silverstein..)
