Why we're raising money for Prostate Cancer UK, a message from Pascal:
"The work done by Prostate Cancer UK is something that is very close to my heart. My father was diagnosed with the disease about 12 years ago. Luckily, this was caught early and he underwent successful surgery to remove the cancerous cells. He has celebrated 10 years of being cancer-free and continues to be in good health. My family and I know that without the research into detection and treatment that has been done, my father’s chances of survival would have been less positive.
Still, prostate cancer kills one man every hour. My goal is to raise £750 to aid Prostate Cancer UK's fight to help more men survive prostate cancer and enjoy a better quality of life. If you are able and willing to help me achieve this, your support would be hugely appreciated. I have set up a JustGiving page (http://www.justgiving.com/Pascal-Barras) for anyone wishing to make a donation.
