Registration for RKDC's 2nd annual summer Intensive is now open. The RKDC summer intensive is designed for highly motivated pre-professional and collegiate level dancers who are on track pursuing a four year degree in dance performance and/or a professional carreer in contemporary dance. Summer Intensive applicants must be at least 16 years old and have a strong ballet and/or modern dance background.
RKDC will be holding its summer intensive M-F, June 23 to June 27 at Alva's Dance Studio, 1417 W 8th St, San Pedro, CA 90732. The intensive will culminate in a performance showing in the Alva's Showroom on June 27.
RKDC Summer Intensive classes will consist of Modern Dance Technique, Contemporary Ballet, Floor Barre, Somatic Practice in the Bartenieff System, RKDC Repertory, Partnering and Dance Improvisation.
