Picture it. The place? Chickasha, Oklahoma. The year? 2013. Heaven Gabriel looks out of the window of her home, admiring the August leaves and sees two kitties chumming around at her neighbor's house. Both fluffy, one was orange & white, the other, tabby colored & white. As weeks go by, Heaven wonders if these two beautiful kitties really still have a home. With a heart for these babies, for the next 6 months, she leaves food and water out for them. It’s as if the neighbors have vanished and no one cares. No one except for Heaven.
Flash forward to February 2014. Heaven returns to her old house to paint after moving away. The kitties are still there but aren't looking so good anymore. They are matted, starving and desperate for attention. The pair recognizes her and go crazy, crying and following her around. She gives them a little water and they drink like they might never see water again. Not bearing to leave them behind, Heaven took them to her new home and named them Maya and Olivia. She found out later that Maya was pregnant and soon had three kittens. One, Oliver, looks just like his Aunt Olivia! The kittens were all adopted but that left Maya and Olivia looking for new homes. Maya is safe with Heaven but this is Olivia’s story.
She finally found a home but that fell through when she was returned the very next day because of bowwows in her new family. Heartbroken, Heaven turned to a familiar kitty group to vent about Olivia's hardships.
Now picture Hammond, Louisiana. Erin Wise felt it was time to open her home to a kitty in need. She got on the very same kitty website that Heaven was on and read Olivia's story. She offered a supportive comment to Heaven, never thinking twice about it. Erin then notices a Facebook message from Heaven. They start to converse. Concerned about how she could get a long distance kitty from Oklahoma to Louisiana, in steps URRKN. Erin felt terrible that beautiful Olivia was rejected to no fault of her own. After Heaven sent a picture, Erin immediately felt a connection to Olivia. She filled out the URRKN paperwork and the rest is history.
Now, more than ever, Olivia needs help from URRKN, the group that will make this dream a reality. Olivia is hoping a group of dedicated transporters step up and help write the final chapter of Olivia's and Erin's happily ever after story...the ending Olivia has waited so long for. That lucky person COULD BE YOU!
