After our amazing Launch Party with Owain K, we’re coming back to East London with another seriously interesting booking: it’s time for Louis Guilliaume to grace the decks at Circles. He has been releasing music for the past 15 years under different monikers, dropping quality House and Techno for the likes of important labels such as Glasgow Underground, Teng Records, SD Records and with forthcoming music on Skudge White, Cottam’s Ruff Draft and more. We are also having down to play our good friends Rob and Rapha from MOODi,which has become one of the most exciting parties in London, as well as Circles’ residents Wefeelnomath.
Let the music talk. See you on the 9th of May.
"Lose yourself in the music, to find yourself again."
Rotterdam-based, but a shapeshifter of different dimensions, Louis Guilliaume loses himself in between the grooves…caught in the space between one beat and the next… Influenced by Detroit and Chicago, bred in school-of-hard-knocks Rotterdam, and long-time resident playing dance and disco sets (E.D.D, NV Opslag and Bootleg DJ Café – Rotterdam) since 1997, Louis Guilliaume has found himself now among label families such as Skudge White, Syncom Data, Midnight Shift, Sound Travels, Teng Records, Seldom Felt and Glasgow Underground. In between first making scratches on his mother’s Mantovani records to his well received productions Louis has also performed at Berghain (Berlin), Sub Club (Glasglow) for a mini Seldom Felt tour, and headlining and sharing a love for Bohannon with legend Carl Craig at the International Film Festival (Rotterdam, 2004).
