In Camogli is the festival most typical and traditional of Liguria, the feast of fish and cooking it in the pan largest in the world!
A gastronomic event that awaits you on the second Sunday of May, the day of San Fortunato, the patron saint of fishermen.
After the blessing of the fish and pan fried Sundays are about three tons of blue fish in a frying pan steel, then distributed free of charge to guests of the festival.
Saturday night there is a procession in honor of San Fortunato, with the Ark of the Holy brotherhoods and Christs of Genoese accompanied by the town band.
The procession ends with a fireworks display over the sea and beach in the suggestive power of two great bonfires which represent the two districts of Camogli, Porto and Pinetto.
In addition to tasting fish, there are also entertainment and music stand with typical Ligurian products and crafts markets.
