NEW NIGHT & DAY WEBSITE LAUNCH PARTY... Girl Sweat // Grind Outs // The iLL Herbs (NYC) // Salford M

Night and Day Cafe 26 Oldham St, Manchester, UK

Night & Day Presents…

TICKETS £5 > http://bit.ly/1nDhhtv

We would like to invite you to the launch party of our BRAND NEW WEBSITE

We’re really proud of the new site which will be ready at the beginning of May. We have been working hard with Rebel Art Syndicate to make sure it looks great and is extremely user friendly.

Girl Sweat

“So good, I don’t think I blinked” Pitchfork

"Echo-drenched trailer trash" Narc Magazine

"Suicide covering Joe Meek songs" Sound It Out Records

"Intense, raw Industrial-Blues" Nat Records (Japan)

"Dirgey and swampy...like Quintron backed by a slab of the most blistering repetitive Fall line ups." Rough Trade East

One the best-kept secrets in the UK, Girl Sweat, is the ever changing garage-noise beast fronted by R.A Gray. Since forming in 2011 previous full-band incarnations featured various other northern underground garage-luminaries, with mid-2013 seeing Girl Sweat turn to a solo venture, with the giant, looming creature Russell utilising a Tascam 4-track full of bass, Casio-keyboard-drums and noise loops to accompany his trademark Lap Steel, Keyboard and overdriven/echoed-out vocals, giving the show a new intensity in sound and performance; the ideal purveyor of a pop-infused bad trip.

The years gone by have seen Girl Sweat cavorting with a multitude of the best garage and psych weirdoes around including; Moon Duo, Kid Congo & The Pink Monkey Birds, Destruction Unit, Crocodiles, Sic Alps, Lorelle Meets The Obsolete, The Cult of Dom Keller, Gallon Drunk, Sleaford Mods, Brown Brogues and Temples.

Grind Outs

Garage slop rock.

The iLL Herbs

A mysterious and anonymous group from New York City. Nothing online. You have to come and watch to find out why we’re offering high props. Potentially one of the ‘I was there’ shows.

Salford Media City

Man Made

Man Made was formed by singer songwriter Nile Marr. He started performing under the name Man Made when he was fifteen, playing shows around the North West of England. He has been featured in the Observer Magazine as one of the country’s top new musicians. He also guested on stage with Broken Social Scene and Bright Eyes shortly after.
