Festival of creative culture. Banks for young people and the land. An initiative coordinated by the ABI, I edition, 12 to 18 May 2014.
From 12 to 18 May 2014, held the first edition of the Festival of Creative Culture, an initiative spread throughout the country, organized and promoted by banks and co-ordinated by the ABI (Italian Banking Association), dedicated to children and young people aged 6 to 13 years.
The theme of the first year: "The Imaginary Museum".
The festival will be held simultaneously in 50 cities with over 70 locations.
The uniqueness of the event lies in its character as a popular festival, created to disseminate the creative and generative culture, a festival like meeting between banks and territory, between the world of adults, parents, teachers, cultural workers, and that of Children.
A constellation of initiatives, conceived not as a sum of individual events, but as a harmonious combination, under the banner of the same principle.
The bank acts as the catalyst of the many cultural and creative experiences going beyond the concept of legitimate and even useful sponsorship, catching, in this first edition, the potential of the imaginary museum, designed as a meeting place and relationships, sharing space , agent of social and cultural transformation.
The intent is to welcome and actively involve the various actors operating in the area (museums, schools, libraries, associations ...), which on this occasion will be able to produce new cultural experiences through new forms of participation in which each make its contribution to a common growth civil.
Banks confirm, once again, their commitment to support the development and promotion of culture through a festival designed as a sounding board, an opportunity to reverberate the energy cultural, relational, creative that is inherent in the different territories of our country.
Under the patronage of UNESCO, the President of the Republic, the MiBACT and the Ministry of Education, the initiatives will be implemented in collaboration with schools, museums and libraries, reserving morning at school, while in the afternoon the doors will be open to the public.
