From 12 to September 14, 2014 in Albareto (PR), the Parma Apennines, the 19th National Fair Porcini Mushroom!
Forests, vegetation and waterways: the Parma Apennines, on the border with Liguria and Tuscany, the area around Albareto (PR) is the natural habitat of the fungus mushroom, famous miceto that in all its variety tick at the foot of beech, chestnut and fir trees since 1996 and is celebrated to the sound of frying, boiling and sizzling to bring out all the organoleptic characteristics.
From 12 to 14 September 2014, the 19th edition of the National Festival of the Mushroom Albareto (PR) - the most important event on the king of the underworld, with free admission - once again brings to the table the recipes of local culinary history thanks to ' intake of more than 220 volunteers, guests and events that muster the "fans" from all over Italy and abroad under a structure of 5 thousand square meters, designed ad hoc.
In the kitchen, polenta croutons, risottos and salads are enriched by this eclectic ingredient to give visitors a taste of the culinary tradition of a land like no other. And for two days, the masters of the international school of Italian cuisine ALMA Colorno rise to the throne to keep lessons interesting gastronomic art.
The Fair Albareto is twinned with the International Fair of the White Truffle of Alba (Cuneo) and sponsored in 2013 by the Ministry of Economic Development.
