This event is not organized by CFI Saskatoon; we are participating in this community event as a team.
The fun run/walk is on Sunday, June 8 at 8:00 am. We need ALL team members to sign up through the boogie website by Tuesday, May 13th (http://raceroster.com/events/2014/2365/2014-starphoenix-bridge-city-boogie). We will get T-shirts with ‘Centre for Inquiry’ on the back if we have 12 or more participants. This is the 6th year that we will participate in the Boogie as a team. You can run, walk or wheel 2K, 5K or 10K and we usually have people in all categories if you’d like a companion.
To register, go to the Boogie Registration page on RaceRoster.com (you have to create an account: http://raceroster.com/events/2014/2365/2014-starphoenix-bridge-city-boogie). Register for your desired distance, fill in the information required and select to join the team “Centre for Inquiry”. You pay the fee yourself online and the proceeds go to a number of local charities (Raise-a-Reader, Saskatoon Crisis Nursery, The Boys and Girls Clubs of Saskatoon, and the Saskatchewan Children’s Festival). Registration fees depend on how far you plan on walking or running and when you register. The prices increase after May 8 and the deadline is May 13.

There is a new location this year at Praireland Park and Diefenbaker Park. The starting line is on St. Henry Avenue, just south of Ruth Street. Those with strollers or wheelchairs start at the back of the pack. There is a free bike valet by Saskatoon Cycles. (http://www.saskatooncycles.org/)
The packages are available on Thursday, June 5, so you will have to connect with Kendra between Thursday evening and race time to get your shirt and race number. We will try to have a pub night to assist with that.
