Host of the 2015 World EXPO, Milan is known all over the world for its forward-looking design and entrepreneurial spirit. It also offers some great architecture thanks to enlightened leaders, artists and architects who have left their unique imprint on the character of the city. This workshop will present an overview of the beautiful buildings and iconic structures you will encounter while visiting Milan.
Brunella Angeli, architectural historian, was one of the contributors to the “Guida all’Architettura di Milano 1954-2014″, which will inform this presentation. She is currently visiting scholar at UC Berkeley.
