Papergirl Quad Cities 2014

Quad Cities 1601 River Drive, Moline, IL, USA

Papergirl Quad Cities 2014

It is that time of year again! You are invited to participate in Papergirl Quad Cities! This is our third year and we are excited to bring this community art engaging project to the area once again! Initiator, Glorie Iaccarino, first introduced Papergirl Quad Cities as The Eco Arts Council's first project. “Papergirl” - a world-wide global art movement, celebrating “The Art of Giving Art” that distributes art via bicycle outdoors in Nature, seemed to be an excellent launch to The Eco Arts Council's mission of using Art in Advocacy and in celebrating our connection to Nature. Art is a universal language and we are innately connected to Nature. Papergirl brings “Art to the People” and supports fellowship outdoors!

Papergirl Quad Cities is open to everyone of all ages. Whether you are a girl or guy, a professional or a novice, you are invited to participate in Papergirl Quad Cities. So get creative and submit your sketches, doodles, drawings, posters and rollable paintings, etc. Get in touch with your creative side and connect with our local Papergirl Community! In fact, you don't have to be from the Quad Cities to be involved. We will accept local, national, and international artists to participate! All art submissions will be documented and featured on Papergirl Quad Cities social media and we can add your website to make sure people know of your talent, if you so desire to include such information. (We look forward to sharing our excitement and appreciation for you sharing and donating your creations to our project!) If you are not into making art, join our distribution ride and cycle with us and pass out the creations to unsuspecting people on the streets of the QCA! Don't be shy – it is a great way to meet new people and support the value of Arts and accessibility to Art!

Again, you are invited to create and donate, volunteer on our planning committee, or be a part of the distribution ride this summer! Which will you choose?! Contact us for a submission form.

There are three simple steps to being involved.
1) Create art and fill out the submission form.
2) Drop it off or mail it.
3) Help spread the word!

Of course, everyone is encourage to help us share the news! Below you will find the a link to our official Papergirl Quad Cities page. If you haven't already, “LIKE” the page and share the link on YOUR Facebook page and any other social media site and invite your connections to LIKE, too! We truly appreciate your support!
