DJ Jim close, a resident DJ of one of Birmingham’s biggest monthly events - Smooth Salsa in the UK, and has been a guest DJ for Latin Motion, Cafe Mambo Project, TNT (Boston) London to name a few. Recently back from playing at the Cyprus Congress and also making Salsology debut next month. DJ Jim really loves the old school Mambo, Guaguanco, and Cha-Cha and but also likes to keep it fresh mixing in new music and romantica, a touch of Latin Jazz, Cuban and Bachata. He collects music from the smaller record labels from Venezuela, Peru, Costa Rica, Dominican republic, Panama etc but blends with the known mainstream classics to give balance and familiarity.
