Contrary to popular belief, dance music isn’t new to America. One would only have to look at the career of Bro Safari to know that the American dance music scene has been thriving for years, making waves from the States to across the globe. Bro Safari’s productions have excited crowds and been critically acclaimed by the best in the business, and there’s nowhere to go but up for this talented producer. In fact, if 2012 was the year that Bro Safari’s name grew, then 2013 is when the rocket blasted off. After is success releasing singles “Scumbag,” and “The Drop,” Bro Safari partnered with his long time collaborator UFO! for the highly anticipated album Animal, which were all free giveaways via his Soundcloud. The Animal project high-light’s how these two drum & bass producers took a “genres-be-damned” approach, creating music that they felt. The album is a cohesive masterpiece, received great accolades and pushes from a number of well-respected outlets. In a fitting cycle, they even included some raucous drum & bass tracks to the project, never forgetting where they came from. No one can predict the future, but with the trajectory that Bro Safari is on right now, he is on track to continue to excite audiences, challenge norms, and represent the quality within the dance music scene for years to come.

The Organ Donors are an anomaly in the modern dance music scene, spanning multiple genres and setting musical standards for well over a decade. Embodying the very nature of what is now known as EDM. Their solo productions, remixes & albums on some of the worlds largest record labels have seen them enter the UK pop charts, gain support from the worlds leading artists, headline some of the planets biggest dance events and help pave the way for this modern, boundary free era of dance music. This year will see them take their equally pioneering two-man DJ show around the world, including both the Chicago & Las Vegas legs of the Electric Daisy Carnival, Defqon 1, Colours & Creamfields as well as once again ripping it up at highlight club shows in the USA, Canada, Australia, Europe & Asia. Their latest release 'Dance Floor Killa' has gained support from: Ferry Corsten, Nicky Romero, Lange, W&W, Marcel Woods, Sean Tyas, Scot Project, Johan Gielen, Marcus Schossow & many more. In 2012 the Organ Donors have been re-established as the leading producers in the field of harder dance music, hailing from the UK and absolutely smashing the UK hard scene into the 21st century with a string of releases on the worlds most renowned labels. Their forward thinking genre crossing hard edge sound is gaining support from leading trance acts including Armin Van Buuren, Paul Oakenfold, Gareth Emery, Judge Hules, Marcel Woods, Marco V, Sean Tyas, Randy Katana, Lange, Simon Patterson to name a few. Ultra Records, Mad Decent, HoodRich, https://soundcloud.com/heroesxvillains
Armed with this experience, roots in punk/hardcore and an appreciation for Southern rap music, Heroes x Villains start their ascent with warbling, bass heavy, electronic dance music remixes of Waka Flocka Flame's 'Oh Let's Do It' and Gucci Mane's 'Lemonade'. These, a remix of Lil' Jon and Diplo's 'U Don't Like Me' and several others make up 'We Off That,' their first mixtape which garners critical acclaim. Less speakers burst into flames these days but Heroes x Villains DJ sets remain as caustic as ever. Stage diving and raucous mosh pits are regular occurrences; champagne spraying in every direction and half naked women moving in ways their parents wouldn't likely approve of come standard. The raw, occult like energy and track selection is a manifestation of how Disaster and fans of Heroes x Villains choose to live: shameless, unrepentant, maximalist hedonism. Heroes x Villains barreled into 2012 as diverse and dangerous as ever. Beginning in early January, they introduced the weekly 'BLXRRD OXT' series, manipulating records like Young Jeezy's ode to intoxication 'WXY 2 GXNE' and England's dark pop princess Charlie XCX 'NUXLEAR SEAXONX' into soundtracks for a haunting, drug-addled haze. And in February, showcasing the two year progression of Southern rap music fusing with electronic dance elements, comes rising Atlanta rap group FKi's mixtape 'Transformers In The Hood' produced by Diplo, Heroes x Villains and Atlanta EDM producer Mayhem. With genre-bending, rule breaking unpredictability as their calling card, it's pointless to attempt to figure out what Heroes x Villains may do next... best to just sign the waiver and enjoy the ride

THUGLI is Tom Wrecks and Pat Drastik, a production/dj duo based out of Toronto Canada. Pat Drastik, a former national Redbull Thre3style and DMC champion and Tom Wrecks, known for his popular remixes and Juno nominated production, teamed up in the summer of 2012. The duo's sound is inspired by a long lasting love of dirty south rap combined with a strong passion for electronic music. The outcome in their production is a perfect combination of both these worlds and It shows from the support they are receiving from both ends of the spectrum. From having hip hop producers like Just Blaze & AraabMuzik playing/remixing their work and receiving radio play from New York's Hot 97 & L.A's Power 106, to support from Dubstep legends like Zeds Dead & Benga and having regular play on BBC Radio 1, their sound is able to reach a broad audience thus further helping blur the lines between the world of Rap and EDM. The two got their start as THUGLI by releasing several bootlegs & remixes via Soundcloud that quickly caught the attention of Industry heavyweights including Diplo, A-Trak and Flosstradamus. Since then, they have been on a consistent tear of official remixes for labels such as Fool's Gold, Dim Mak, Universal, a string of very successful and popular bootlegs and releasing original work such as their debut E.P 'Onslaught'. From the E.P came the track, 'Run This' which was accompanied by a stellar short film/music video directed by Amos Leblanc and Ohji Inoue. The song/video charted in the top 20 for six weeks on the Much Music Countdown and was a Vimeo staff pick on their front page. As performers and DJ's, THUGLI's prowess is second to none. Both come from a technical DJ background with over 30 years combined experience and have a resume of accolades in the competitive DJ world a mile long. They have rocked clubs & festivals from London to Hong Kong and bring a unique experience with every set and every crowd. Their dynamic live show is a hybrid of turntablist skill, clever, intricate blends and exquisite musical selection all put together on 4 Technics 1200's. A rare but very welcomed sight nowadays. 2014 is already off to a great to start for the two with several big remixes and collaborations waiting to be released, tours and festivals lined up and a new E.P set to come out spring/summer! This year is going to be THUGLI's time to shine!

Bad Company UK or )EI3( is the stage name of drum and bass producers Jason Maldini, Darren White (D Bridge), Dan Stein (DJ Fresh) and Michael Wojcicki (Vegas). Breaking onto the scene together with D-Bridge as Future Forces back in 1995, Jason Maldini was the first artist to release a single on the then brand new Renegade Hardware imprint. The cryptic abbreviation of the name results from an album cover: the letters BC are mirrored on a vertical line (written as the letter I or as the pipe symbol |), whereas the B looks like the number 3 or letter E and the C like brackets: )E|3(. Today, however, the group is somewhat dissolved. Dan Stein (Fresh) had left Bad Company to pursue several solo projects under different labels like: Ram Recordings, Breakbeat Kaos, V-Recordings and Valve. Darren White continues to produce under the name D-Bridge, Jason Maldini and Michael Wojicky under Maldini and Vegas, respectively. The group also changed name to "Bad Company UK", due to a legal battle with the band formed in the 1970s with the same name, and ultimately consisting of Maldini and Wojicky. The group had a fan forum on their website, which led on to become Dogs On Acid. The remainder of the group, now known as "Bad Company UK" consists of Maldini and Wojicky. Since first being introduced to each other in 1998 Maldini and Vegas have remained amongst the forerunners of the Drum and Bass machine, leaving an indelible mark on the scene as one half of the ground breaking Bad Company UK outfit, and more recently in partnership, as Bad Taste. Bad Company UK’s seminal anthem ‘The Nine’ / The Bridge (BCR001) re-wrote the script for what was becoming an increasingly minimalist genre. At the height Bad company UK’s success, Maldini and Vegas had not only racked up an impressive back catalogue on their own label BC Recordings, but also on some of the biggest labels in Drum and Bass including Prototype, Virus, DSCI4, Ram, React and Metalheadz. Their albums ‘Inside the Machine’ and ‘Book of the Bad’ were released to global critical acclaim, winning them mainstream recognition. Maldini and Vegas set the precedent for their future success as a duo, working on anthem tunes such as 'The Nine' ‘Pulse’ 'Nitrous' 'Snowcat' 'Elm St' 'Bullet Time' 'Meditation' ‘True Romance’ and 'Re-Animator' to name a few.....Not content with re-igniting the scene musically, the pair were also amongst the collective brains behind the Dogs On Acid website which has grown over the past 6 years to become the world’s biggest dance music forum. After a time spent globe trotting due to hectic DJ schedules, 2010 sees a return to the UK and a return to true form for Maldini and Vegas. A re-branded BC Presents becomes Bad Taste Recordings with a heavy release schedule planned: This Feedback is bringing drum and bass back to it’s roots. As of 2010, Vegas has also joined with the Swiss producer Uman, to form the group Blokhe4d.

One of the top MC's in the United States Drum n' Bass/ Bass Music scene, Digga Bruck Shot is a 15 year mic veteran. After being introduced to DnB during his time in the UK, attending many of the biggest events London had to offer in the late 90's early 2000's (often referred to as DnB's "golden era"). Major players such as Skibadee, Det, Shabba D & IC3 to name just a few, were the inspiration behind Digga Bruck Shot trying his hand at the art of Drum n' Bass MC'ing. Securing small gigs in and around London for a few years, Diggz moved back stateside in early 2003, bringing with him a wealth of knowledge about the genre and a hunger to continue where he had left off in the UK. Spending 2003-2008 in Virginia Beach, Virginia and mainly performing at Drum n' Bass events throughout Baltimore, Richmond & D.C. 2008 would be the year Digga Bruck Shot linked up with DJ SS performing at The World of Drum n' Bass in Miami, as well as many of the other large scale DnB events at WMC that year. Since 2008 Diggz has gone on to perform at the biggest WMC showcases for 6 straight years. In 2008 Diggz made the move North to NYC...Enter 2009, Bruck Shot ventured into 140bpm with Dave Gee of Methods NYC. The pair played numerous cities throughout the US, becoming the first nationally booked DJ/MC dubstep combo in the states and began a mix series called Heavy Weight Division. It was during this time, Dave Gee founded Darkroom, making Diggz the resident MC/ Host, over the next 3 years Darkroom would become a Brooklyn staple, handing many artists their NYC debut, artists such as 16bit, Datsik, Borgore & Bare. November 2011 brought us the "Murda Style EP", produced by Dave Gee & Trigon featuring Jahdan Blakkamoore, Armanni Reign & Diggadee MC (Digga Bruck Shot) released on Profound Audio, which consisted of remixes from MRK1, Von D & Codes and received air play on BBC radio amongst others. A few months later Dave Gee & Diggz released the 2nd Heavy Weight Division mixtape which was well received. On the back of the Murder Style & Heavyweight releases, Dave Gee, Digga Bruck Shot & Trigon went on to feature at WMC Miami at Smog vs. Basshead & Future Sound of Breaks as the Darkroom collective. In March of 2013, Digga Bruck Shot was again involved with The WODNB, this time on the full tour, as the only American representive on the bill with LTJ Bukem, DJ SS, Subzero, The Prototypes, Blokhead & Cabbie, hitting NYC, Tampa, Puerto Rico & Miami. Rounding off 2013 in style, Diggz hooked up with French duo Tambour Battant to release the "Set it To Play" EP via Profound Audio and also hooking up with NYC based DnB producton duo The Burner Brothers to release "Fully Bulletproof" as part of their Wall to Wall EP on the Patrol the Skies Music. 2014 looks to be a promising year, with new collaborations in the pipeline as well as a new DnB mix with AlienAudix to be released in January and also linking up with Cyber Groove AM to start the year off right. People often say the do it for the love, in the case of Digga Bruck Shot, its the love that makes him do it.

Based in the Southeastern United States, the birthplace and still undisputed home of Bass Music, a new record label is rising up and bringing an International flair and worldly spin on the beloved genre. Helmed by the infamous, Atlanta based, jack-of-all-trades, Sporty-O, TEQUILA RAGE FACE GANG (or #TRFG as it's already affectionately known on Twitter) is poised to bring you the biggest and best tunes from all over the Globe. You may have Sporty's name before though. The former Hip Hop star made a huge splash with his early music career and spun that into movie appearances in such films like Van Wilder 2: The Rise of Taj, Road Trip 2, and Preacher's Kid. Thus leading him to even a reoccurring starring role on Jamie Kennedy's MTV show "Blowing Up". But it wasn't until one fateful day in 2007, that Sporty's longtime friend DJ LETHAL (of House Of Pain and Limp Bizkit fame) introduced Sporty to the legendary breakbeat artists, Aquasky, that Sporty's life changed forever. Together they recorded the chart topping "Outta Control" track, and Sporty was forever bitten by the EDM bug ever since. Going on to release smash after smash hit with the who's who of Bass. AC Slater, Calvertron, Codes, Dank, Deekline, DJ Fixx, Dodge & Fuski, Electric Soulside, Hirshee, J-Trick, Juggernaut, Krafty Kuts, Peace Treaty, Pyramid, Reid Speed, Specimen A, Stanton Warriors all have had Sporty on one of their tracks. And that's just to name a few!! In 2010 Sporty's collaboration with Brazilian House Sensation, Felguk, titled "2nite" became the theme song for Electric Daisy Carnival's last year in Los Angeles before it's move to Las Vegas. After working with the who's who in the EDM industry it only seems like a logical progression for Sporty to start his own label, to express and push his love for the music even more. Sporty has traveled all across the planet to bring you the best artists from the Seven Continents. Let's rage!

Chad Blancas is an electronic music producer from New Orleans, La. In 2012, Chad created the Alia Rroid Drazr. Shortly after that, Chad paired up with well known Vocalist Sue Cho, and together they collaborated on a Dubstep single, entitled I'm Free, which released on well known recording Label powerhouse Royal One Records & Charted to the #12 spot on Beatport Top 100 Dubstep. After pairing up with Sue, Chad wasted no time in picking up a remix for "Fight Club Is Closed" which was originally produced by world renown artist Dada Life. Not long later, after not letting off the gas, Chad picked up remix honors from well Known Dance Music Producers, Darth & Vader, for there upcoming release entitled "The Empire Strikes Back", Set to release Oct 14th, 2013. Chad's blatant disregard for musical genre's has opened up a new window for limitless opportunity in the EDM scene. Having several tracks released, or set to release on Beatport.com & all major music download sites, there seems to be no end, nor EDM genre thats safe for this Bass Music Junkie.
