Shahar Shtrikman, aka Static Movement, was born in 1984. He is originally from Ukraine, but currently resides in Israel.
Through his emigration to Israel, he soon realized his calling to the style of Psychedelic trance, especially after settling.
Shtrikman’s affinity for music, became gradually solid through his experimentation with the piano; he is self-taught, by using mental visualizations as a tool to simulate and better express himself through sound. At 12 years old, he began using Impulse Tracker, a sound production piece of software, and soon came to fall in love with Psytrance, mainly through friends who shared this particular interest. His drive to subsequently create such music was inevitable.
In 2007, he began studying sound engineering professionally, while simultaneously working at a recording studio called “Oz Studios”, where he gained a lot of experience working with Rock, Jazz and Metal band and his involvement in the production of their discography. His first project, Impulser, which gravitates closer to the styles of FullOn , Goa, Psychedelic and Classical music, was launched in 1996 and has continued to this day.
His newest project, Static Movement, came about through his recent involvement with the style of Progressive trance. Static Movement is a project that combines strong emotion with sheer force, on a static progression that simulates a gradual “building up”. Some of the tracks are characterized by their melodic elements, while others have a harder and more distinct psychedelic sound, each telling a unique story.
Static Movement has had releases through some of the most prominent labels in the industry, like Iboga, Iono music, Yellow sunshine explosion, and Nightbase music.
The man behind the project Bevatron is named Theo and was born in Pella (Greece/Macedonia). In the early 90's he moves to Frankfurt (Germany) where he comes in touch with electronic music for the first time.
Around 1995 he starts playing music as a dj in clubs,
local events and private parties and starts building his name until 2000 when he moves back in Greece and plays in almost every city as a guest dj. In 2003 he is introduced to Reason/Cubase and starts making his own tunes on his computer.
Five years later Bevatron is born, a project that mixes European Psytrance with Latin Psytrance influences combining dynamic basslines, pagan melodies and astonishing soundscapes filled with bursts of powerful leads that describe his own personal taste!
Panagiotis Pournos comes from southern Greece and goes by the name DJ Microstar, when behind the decks. An avid fan of electronic music, he started to mix Psy-Trance at his own home studio, while still studying in Thessaloniki.
It was in 2007 that he made his first appearance at the University of Thessaloniki and a contract with FMU followed soon afterwards. Since then, DJ Microstar has been spinnin Progressive and Psy tunes in his many appearances at parties and festivals all over Greece and Europe. More specifically, his participation at the Ozora Festival (Hungary), and his Ministry of Sound (UK) and Mount41n Gathering (GR) performances, is widely considered to be some of his best work.
DJ Microstar has shared the stage with DJ’s/Producers such as Laughing Buddha, Tristan, Talamasca, U Recken, Egorythmia, Ace Ventura, Krama, Major7, X-Noize, Lupin, Inner State, Aquafeel and many more. He was also in charge of the musical editing for the theatrical performance “Life in Acts”, as well as Thessaloniki’s Festival of Water Sports.
In winter 2010, while residing in London, UK, he studied Music Production and worked on various projects for Subbass Studio and the very prominent “Ministry of Sound”. It was in 2013, when DJ Microstar released his first recording work, entitled ‘Special Blend’ Vol.1, featuring exclusive tracks by Egorythmia, Lyctum, Aquafeel, Atom Device, Hi Profile and more.
In her early life steps, Maria Eleftheriadu expressed her love and passion for music through percussion instruments and then she realized that this is the world she really belongs to. Whilst listening and observing other producers and DJ’s perform, she always held a hidden desire to present her own flow in music, to put the sounds together according to her own acoustics. The need to express the rhythm inside her, drives her to collect and mix her favorite psycedelic progressive tunes, in parallel with her current University studies under the major of Toddlers Music Prep. She plays at parties and festivals in Greece and has played at Sweden’s Forest star Festival. With responsibility and respect towards the listener being Freedu’s top characteristics, the mixing and the quest for new sounds become her daily activity and she is now more than ever determined to share her passion and energy through the music.
Digimush is the stage name of Emmanouil D, an artist born in 1982, in Ioannina, Greece. He was first exposed to trance music in 2001, after he moved to Thessaloniki. It was in Thessaloniki that he also began his studies in sound engineering and technology in music, which he completed by 2007. Since 2003, he has participated, as well as organized, many parties, including, but not limited to the ones in his hometown of Ioannina. He has been a part of FMU Resident’s crew since 2013, and has shared the stage with many well-known Progressive Trance Producers and Djs.
