Due to popular demand the Acoustic and spoken word space is back at Ravenstonedale this summer, but this year with a brand new café and lots of great entertainment, all this on top of the fine acoustic and spoken word performances. We have a warm comfortable space to chill out in, refuel and take in some fantastic acoustic and spoken word acts. A family friendly space offering kids workshops at breakfast time, great live entertainment throughout the day and an inspiring place to party and jam at night.
Here’s a little guided journey through what you can expect to see at the Acoustic Café this year:
Ham Fisted Linguists
The Recovery Breakfast
Between 9:30am – 12pm, we will gently prepare you for the days festivities by serving homemade breakfast butties with choices of bacon, eggs, fried mushroom and tofu, along with fresh filtered coffee, teas and fruit juices.
The Kids Breakfast Club
During the same time as the recovery café kids can come choose from our breakfast butties menu or we have a selections of cereals too. We will also be providing kids workshops, so you can relax with a coffee and bacon butty, whilst we entertain your kids!
Acoustic and Spoken Word Stage
At 12pm the stage will open and there will be a fantastic variety of acoustic and spoken word performers up until midnight. During this time our café will be serving up a selection of Chilli’s, nachos and burgers, all homemade on site.
Late Night Café
From midnight the entertainment will continue with a selection of the day’s performers having an acoustic jam on our stage, so please feel free to come along, bring and instrument or your voice and join in. To keep your energy levels up our café will be serving hot and cold drinks, along with homemade cakes and toasties.
Full dance, acoustic and reggae line up to be announced.
January sale tickets have sold out!
Early bird tickets £45 are now on sale via our Facebook and Skiddle page.
We’ve rolled out a new deposit scheme this year on our full price weekend tickets too. Please note deposits of £10 must be paid before the 30th March and the remaining balance of £50 by 20th May.
Your family will benefit from under 14's being a measly £5 and under 5's go free!
Dogs are also welcome-but need to be kept on a lead!
There will be camping, food stalls, cafes, entertainment in the way of fun, games, hula girls and poi dancing. Other fun acts to be confirmed.
We have an excellent festival bar in the Ravens Nest! Please can we also add that we do allow you to bring your alcohol to the event but we do not allow you to bring it from the campsite into the main area, we hope you understand that this is because we like you to use our festival bar, the prices are very reasonable in comparison to many festivals and it gives us a chance to make a little bit of money to stop us from going under! The ticket prices barely cover the events costs so please be understanding of this.
