Going upside down can short-circuit the physical and psychological systems that cause fatigue, anxiety and depression, leaving us invigorated and balanced, focused but calm, awake yet easeful. In other words practicing inversions prepares us perfectly for taking on the challenges of life! We’ll do some fun vinyasa flow to prepare the body, then take ample time to break down proper techniques and alignment for handstand, forearm stand and headstand variations. We’ll get up, we’ll get down and we’ll end with some mellow time to let all the benefits sink in.
