In An Instant
Our headliner for Hidden Machine 03 is of course In An Instant for the launch of their EP ‘Light You Know and Love'! Formed in February 2013, the four-piece from Bangor effortlessly deliver their own brand of electro-indie pop the likes of which bands like Snow Patrol and Two Door Cinema Club would be proud.
Over the past year the band have won the Chordblossom ‘Kickstart’ competition, featured in the ‘Guinness Versus’ Battle of the Bands competition and have worked tirelessly over the last year to bring you their stunning debut EP ‘Light You Know and Love’.
It’s been a long and hard road leading up to the launch of their EP as the band themselves will tell you, and we can’t wait to finally make this happen!

Our main support for Hidden Machine 03 comes from the incredibly atmospheric and captivating electronic band Affleck. Hailing from Belfast, the band was created by three former members of the now defunct Northern Irish band EatenByBears.
The band explore their various video game experiences and lore in their music, with themes ranging from Minecraft to Dark Souls and Bioshock. Affleck have been making music they love and judging by their inclusion in The Thin Air’s ‘Top 100 Irish Tracks of 2013’ it’s music that everyone else loves too.
It’s only a matter of time before they release their full album and if it’s anything like their debut record ‘Affleck’ then it has the promise to be something very special indeed. Don’t miss Affleck, one of the most exciting bands that Northern Ireland has to offer!

Opening the night is three-piece electronic audio/visual project C-Beams. Led by ‘Next Brit Thing’ winner Paul Shevlin this will be the bands first ever gig. Formed only a few months ago, the band have released a couple of alluring and beautiful songs in the shape of ‘Scars’ and ’Tannhauser’.
