The Thunderbolt Way Workshop
The Thunderbolt Way is one of the many terms used for Vajrayana, or Tantric, Buddhism, believed by practitioners to be one of the three possible paths to enlightenment within Tibetan Buddhism. The Thunderbolt Way is not for those seeking a quick orgasmic thrill or brief ecstatic experience however, Tantra, true Tantra is not simply for those who seek pleasure, it is for those who desire to fully meet & deeply engage with all of Life. ''Tantra is the hot blood of spiritual practice. It smashes the taboo against unreasonable happiness; a thunderbolt path, swift, joyful and fierce. There is no authentic Tantra without profound commitment, discipline, courage, and a sense of wild, foolhardy, fearless abandon." Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche
Vajrayana is esoteric in nature and therefore, traditionally, certain aspects cannot be learned from books but are transmitted by a master or Dakini, sometimes including permission to practice itself. Beth's current approach to teaching, sharing & facilitating is by transmission & is free from dogma. This short experiential workshop will be initiatory in nature & some previous experiential esoteric experience &/or practice is recommended, though not necessary. Beth's perspective on Tantric practice is that it is not specifically about sex, sexuality, relationships, connection or orgasm, it is about an expanded experience of self and therefore of life from a non-dual perspective, one that expressly includes sex, sexuality as well as all other aspects of the human experience of life.
