The family & Friends of the late Mark Black have decided to organise a tractor run taking place on Saturday 2nd August 2014, to raise money for CLIC sargent & Friends of Cancer Centre.
Mark lost his battle to Melanoma skin Cancer in August last year at the age of 24, just over 2 years after being diagnosed. he had planned the route for the tractor run in July 2013 but sadly wasn't able to take part himself therefore this years event will follow the same route.
Mark attended various tractor runs & vintage shows in his Massey 35- sometimes with his blue 'Ford' Buggy in tow! He also learned the skill of ploughing, participating in a few matches and planted potatoes using his refurbished potato dropper.
The Massey 35 will lead the run and his buggy, ploughs & potato dropper will be on display on the day.
The event will begin at 11.00am sharp leaving Braeside Bar & restaurant, travelling to Lissan, on to Lough Fea & back to the Braeside for a BBQ (weather permitting). we would like to encourage anyone interested to join us, both Ladies & Gentlemen, Vintage or modern tractors, and help support us in our special fun day.
Minimum donation of £15 pp
we would like to Thank you in advance for your generous support which will be greatly appreciated by Mark's family & friends
