Okay so our next guest is one of Irelands most prominent names in our small but vibrant Techno scene, first Discovered by Dave Clarke in 2010. Over the past 5 years Will Kinsella has studied Sound and Music Technology, spent a year under the mentorship of Matador (Minus) and worked as a House engineer in Grouse Lodge and Temple Lane studios (where Michael Jackson recorded his last work). His radio show (Ceoltronic) is now in it's 8th year of broadcasting and has resided in RTE for the past 5 years.
As a promoter he has brought massive names to some of Dublins best clubs, Jeff Mills, Joseph Capriati, Alan Fitzpatrick, Detroit Techno Militia, Slam, The Advent, Sasha Carassi to name a few, As a Producer he has signed tracks to major labels Sleaze, Globox, Kombination Research etc..
Theres a few notable names that spring to mind that have worked very hard to champion and promote Techno music to the masses here in Ireland and Will Kinsella is definitely one of them and is at the forefront of a now vibrant scene, not many has a distinguished C.V like his, so in 2014 we continue to explore what Ireland has to offer, in contrast to previous years where we booked some major overseas acts.
Will also runs masterclasses on Abelton and Maschine in various locations around Dublin and Cork , so we have decided to take the opportunity to explore his knowledge on this, he will be running a special Masterclass on Native Instruments Maschine before the gig for the producer heads in the city, this is a great opportunity for any budding producers or even for anyone trying to brush up on what they already know, it will be a 2-3hr course taking a track from loop stage to final arrangement, i for one bought a maschine a few months back and all its done is collect dust so im looking forward to it
Here is a few links to check more about the man, thanks for your support and we hope to see you on the floor again.
