We are facing social, political, and economic issues today that are similar to those that NYC Congressman Vito Marcantonio dealt with masterfully in the 1930's and '40s. I am launching a theatrical showcase to show how he advocated for labor, union, immigrants, race relations, Civil Rights, and the First Amendment. The showcase will also promote the 60th Anniversary commemoration of Marcantonio's death and create the opportunity to learn about and learn from this unsung political hero.
