Electro Vault

South Hill Park Ringmead, Bracknell, Bracknell Forest, UK

Frantic Promotions Presents: Electro Vault

A night of live synth and electronic music in The Cellar Bar, South Hill Park, Bracknell, Berks with Modovar, KirA, Martyn Bailey and EMT...

Modovar are songwriting team, Christopher Beecham (Vocals) and Glen Wisbey (Music). Each member of this duo brings their varied and eclectic musical influence to the mix and so the name, Modovar, derived from Arabic and ‘of uncertain origin’ perfectly captures this diversity; influenced by formative synth artists, Yazoo, Depeche Mode and Eurythmics, inspired by classic pop, torch song singers and 70′s soul and with more than a nod to the dance floor, Modovar’s sound is uniquely their own and yet immediately accessible to the listener.

KirA is an electronic/synth based duo. Fronted by Kira with her soft, yet seductively alluring vocal style, the act is backed by emotive string arrangements and rich analogue tones. KirA draws on its musical influences... from the likes of Japan and David Bowie to Massive Attack and the Boards of Canada. They marry this range of styles with old and new production techniques to create their unique soundscape.

Martyn Bailey
'I want to make music that paints a picture or story in your mind that you won't want to leave. Somewhere to escape to for an hour or so when you put that album in your headphones, car, or front room I aim for you to be transported and live in that new world for a while. I use the magic moments from songs of artists that I love and fuse it in to my music using sounds that completely move us such as synths, guitars and orchestral arrangements with big drums to generate pure emotion. I hope you enjoy the journey and continue to live in the atmosphere of this sound.'

EmT are Ema Walter and Tony Blue. They are a duo from the outskirts of London, who recently got back together to release a number of songs that are getting plenty of air time around the world. The band’s unique mix of synth, catchy pop and electronic dance genres has got DJs reaching for their songs on a regular basis. Most notable plays have been on the legendary DJ and ex-Visage drummer, Rusty Egan’s Electronic Family Tree show, amongst many others. The band’s first single, ‘Regret’, has been released through iTunes, Amazon, Spotify and all the other major download stores.

Tickets will only be available from the South Hill Park Box Office from March. www.southhillpark.org.uk
