Celebrate the role of women in beer history with Crafty Bastards author Lauren Clark, BABES and Girls Pint Out and an all-female-brewer tap takeover at Stoddard’s Fine Food & Ale.
Believe it or not, there was a time when beer conglomerates made the important decision that beer should be sold in a pack of six cans. Why? Because after much study, it was decided that a six-pack was what the average grocery shopping housewife could comfortably carry out of a supermarket. And that was pretty much the only thought given to women and beer.
Oh, how times have changed!
Pick up more Cliff Clavin factoids from Lauren Clark and enjoy beers and cider on tap brewed by Wormtown Brewery, Bantam Cider, Watch City Brewing, Pretty Things Beer & Ale Project, and more to be announced!
Beer lovers of any gender are welcome, but act fast—this
event is limited to 50 attendees.
