On Sunday June 8th my family and I will be participating in Walk Now, a fundraiser for Autism Speaks Canada. I'm writing here today to ask you to make a donation to our team, "Team Chubbs," to support Autism awareness and research.
As many of you know, this is a cause that is close to our hearts. My youngest brother Andrew has Autism, and though he is the happiest, life-loving person you will ever meet, he faces several challenges every day in ways that you and I take for granted.
Autism is a neurological condition that impacts an individual's ability to communicate and socialize, as well as their sensory processing. Your donation will make a difference in not only Andrew’s life, but in the lives of all the individuals and families affected by Autism.
Please click on the link below to visit my personal donation page. There you can read about Andrew, his Autism, and how a donation to “Team Chubbs” can help people like him.
And if you feel so inspired, consider joining “Team Chubbs” and walking with us! We have cool t-shirts.
Thank you for your time and support.
