A Night At The Horse Races... Charity Race Night

The one day of the year it's all about the dad's, we at the Rose & Crown have put together a Race Night, all In aid of the wipe your tears Charity.
The evening will be jam packed full of Horse Racing, giving you a chance to buy and sponsor jockeys, horses and trainers to win prizes and also cash prizes.
There will be a total of 8 races with 8 horses each race.
You can either sponsor the race for £10
And For each horse you can:
Buy the owner of the hose for £2
Buy the jockey for £2
Buy the trainer for £2
The more of the horse you own the bigger the prizes will be.
Along side the racing you will be able to take part in our free pub quiz and also our £1 a ticket bingo.
Wipe your tears aim to provide end of life wishes for our children, whether it be meeting celebrities from footballers to pop stars or swimming with dolphins.
The charity provides financial support to families that need the extra help to give their children the best care they need.
They commit to making the lives of the children who suffer from serious or terminal illness that bit better. A difference is a difference whatever way you look at it. If we could all make a seriously ill child smile for one minute, we would. And if we could make the parents of an ill child free that someone else cares, we all would. Well we can and we will.
Horses will be on sale from Tuesday 1st April from the Rose & Crown.
