North meets South meets West meets East...Let us show the world our Love and play some music!
Original 8 piece-Afro Reggae band playing songs from their new album.
Nigerian master drummer and former member of the Oro band busts out his funky Afrobeat rhythms whilst exploring some more traditional West African sounds. Wallace is a veteran of the UK's world music scene, having played at the first WOMAD, and his staying power is a testament to just how good he is.
Bucimis Trio is made up of outstanding musicians Susi Evans (clarinet), Matt Bacon (guitar, kaval) and Christina Borgenstierna (davul), also members of London's award-winning 8-piece Klezmer and Balkan ensemble, She'Koyokh. Their repertoire is focused on the music of Thrace, the region linking Bulgaria, Greece & Turkey, where they have travelled, studied & played in festivals. Expect a dose of Klezmer thrown into the mix too!
