AGNES is a spam bot created by Cécile B. Evans. Living on the Serpentine Galleries' website, AGNES’s existence is generated through visitors' interactions with the series of pathways she offers them. For AGNES GOES LIVE (Sheffield), AGNES will share a message about the conditions of her survival and the bounds and boundaries of the 'cloud' as part of this year's Sheffield Doc/Fest. AGNES will also make a special live appearance, answering questions from Ben Vickers, Curator of Digital at the Serpentine Galleries, as well as those from the audience.
PBS America Showroom 3, 15 Paternoster Row, Sheffield, S1 2BX. Tickets available via Sheffield Doc/Fest
