Single certifications and packages will be available with full payments, and payment plans. All workshop registration is non-refundable. Fees listed are for workshops only. Accommodation and travel expenses are extra and to be arranged by participants.
General Skills for Classic ATS® – Thurs Oct 16 & Fri Oct 17, 2014 (10 am to 7 pm, 1 hour buffer before and after, 5 hours class, 1 hour lunch)
A 10 hour intensive presenting the foundational movements and concepts documented on Tribal Basics DVDs Vol. 1-6 including; formations, lead and follow, chorus and zils. Students must attend all 10 hours, no exceptions. Certificate awarded upon completion.
General Skills for Modern ATS® – Sat Oct 18 & Sun Oct 19, 2014 (10 am to 7 pm, 1 hour buffer before and after, 5 hours class, 1 hour lunch)
A 10 hour intensive presenting the modern movements and concepts documented on Tribal Basics DVD Vol. 7 – Creative Steps and Combinations. Students must attend all 10 hours, no exceptions. Certificate awarded upon completion.
Teacher Training for ATS® – Mon Oct 20 & Tues Oct 21, 2014 (10 am to 7 pm, 1 hour buffer before and after, 5 hours class, 1 hour lunch)
For graduates of General Skills (both Classic and Modern are required) for ATS®. Curriculum with include instruction on how to present the concept of ATS®, the steps, verbal instruction, physical cueing, assessing students needs, answering common questions, structuring a class and troubleshooting. Limited to 40 people. Two 5-hour days with one hour break for lunch each day.
*This training is stage one for teachers interested in becoming a FCBD Sister Studio. Sister Studios teach exclusively FCBD® format. Students need approval from Carolena to be considered for Sister Studio status.
Students must attend all 10 hours, no exceptions. Certificate awarded upon completion.
The Business of ATS® – Wed Oct 22, 2014 (10 am to 7 pm, 1 hour buffer before and after, 5 hours class, 1 hour lunch)
A forum discussion moderated by Carolena and Megha for ATS®TT Teachers that have had time to put the training to use. No dance instruction or dancing. Topics may include but are not limited to: -Step definition
-How to present steps properly -Student questions that you have not been able to answer -Anatomy -Music -”Problem” students” (wince) -Business Prerequisites: General Skills Classic and Modern and Teacher Training for ATS®.
Dancers must have previous experience in ATS®, Tribal, Tribal Fusion or Oriental dance, no beginners please.
There are no tests required to certify, but you MUST ATTEND ALL CLASS HOURS, no exceptions, no make up time will be arranged. Period, end of story. IF you default on the schedule, you can certainly continue with the instruction, but no certificate will be granted.
Exact hours will be posted in August, but the class time is 5 hours per day, plus one hour for lunch, and an hour before and after class time should be set aside as well.
Each participant will be required to submit a one page dance bio which includes their dance experience AS IT RELATES TO ATS® and what they would like to achieve at the Intensive(s)
All students must be fluent in English.

Deposits and payment plans: A non refundable deposit will secure your spot in that intensive, and payments will be set up to cover the balance owing to complete full payment by Sept 1, 2014.
