Hospice of Hope to Present Art of Hope Show
Hospice of Hope’s “Art of Hope” show will be held June 12 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Cox Gallery located in the Cox building in downtown Maysville. This show will feature expressions of grief made through the creative process of making meaningful and healing artwork. Workshops, led by local artists, included memory making activities, photography, pottery, creative writing, and making silk sun catchers.
Any individual or group may submit healing creative artwork for the art show, regardless of whether you attended the series. Other forms of art could include quilting, knitting, wood carving, jewelry making, etc. If you are interested in submitting an item for the show, contact Peg Lynch at 800-928-4243. Hospice of Hope bereavement programs and support groups are free and open to the community. Individual support is also available.
