Webster Hall is one of North Americas most prestigious and historic entertainment venues.

Located in New York City's East Village, Webster Hall has hosted performances and major events from across all spectrums of culture since it's construction in 1886. This 40,000 square foot architectural gem, landmarked by New York City in 2008, is soaked in NYC history and lore. Built as event hall, it served as a gathering place for the immigrant population of the surrounding neighborhood in the late 1800's and later became a palace of hedonism and leftist expression for Bohemians, anarchists and artists in the first decades of the 1900's. Purportedly owned by Al Capone during Prohibition, it later became known as Webster Hall Studios in the 1950's, functioning as RCA's East Coast recording studio - Elvis Presley, Bob Dylan, Frank Sinatra and countless other icons recorded albums on the Grand Ballroom stage. In 1980 it became the infamous and influential rock and punk club The Ritz, where U2, Depeche Mode and The Cure played their first North American shows. In 1992, at the height of 90's club culture, Webster Hall was reborn.

With 6 unique environments and a 1,500 capacity performance hall on the second floor, Webster Hall routinely hosts the most celebrated events in the world. Performances by every type of musical artist take place daily - Ray Charles, Paul Simon, Green Day, Madonna, The Killers, Prince, Nine Inch Nails, Micheal Bublé, Jack White. Adele, and Mick Jagger are among many of the notables that have graced Webster Hall's three internationally recognized stages in recent years.

Webster Hall has made an indellible mark on New York City nightlife and club culture. Open every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night, the entire building transforms into the City's most famous 4 story adventure. Over half a million club-goers fill it's dance floors yearly. Webster Hall's weekly parties, as well at it's infamous annual events such as Webster Hell (Halloween) and the New Year's Eve Ball, are among the most well-attended and best produced events in the nightlife community.

In the 1910's, Eugene O'Neil - the great American playwright and leftist political thinker - declared Webster Hall "the crown of the East Village". In 2004, Prince declared Webster Hall "the best stage in NYC". Experience the venue that for over 128 years has been a focal point of culture, celebration and freedom in the heart of the world's greatest stage:
New York City.
