-- Jaywood --
A house music producer from San Diego now residing in Denver. He is a veteran of the EDM movement with over 15 years of producing and Djing under his belt. He has many different names for various EDM projects including Elwood, Dubwood, Bass Brothers and Boogie Sound Corruption. He is a classically trained musician with a taste for deep funky house music.
In 2003, Jaywood signed his first album “Inspiracion”. It was heavily supported by heavyweights Ben Watt and James Zabiela. Then in 2004, he followed this up with the underground classic bootleg, “One Night in Long Beach”. This was a massive hit and the EP was repressed several times to keep up with demand. This record had heavy support from Iz and Diz, Dj Mes, Heather, Bret Johnson, and Doc Martin to name a few. After these hits, Jaywood remixed Demarkus Lewis’ track “Media Light” on the first ever release of now mega house label, “Guest House”.
After the Guest House release, he linked up with Thomas Sahs and released the first album on Sahs new imprint “Public Access” with the EP “Steppin’ Correct”. Things heated up even more when he connected with Q Burn Abstract Message to remix a Sleazy McQueen track for the label “Eight-Tracks”. This remix landed Jaywood in XLR8R magazine. A slew of singles and EP’s later, Jaywood turned his efforts to his latest project but the tides are turning once again and this veteran is resurfacing.
His newest release titled "Life is Changing" is soon coming out on BassCamp Records and is getting support from house heavyweights Demarkus Lewis, Thomas Sahs and Eddie Spettro.
-- Just B --
OVRDUB resident breaks Dj. He crushes it with a seamless blend of booty shakin breaks. Vinyl born, Brandon DeRosa, has been playing since he was 16. Starting out as a scratch DJ for a go nowhere band and then entering the rave scene, B still rides the pitch like an old school turntablist.
Having vinyl crates full of Funky, Big Beat breaks and hard drives full of Nu Skool, Booty breaks B has stayed true to the genre ever since. B pulls his style from every aspect of the gene and rides the crowd with fat basslines. As a regular at FreeMan Music Festival, MoTheRShiP and residency with OVR DUB, B has brought what he always knew best… BREAKS
