Richard Knott (Pryda Friends, Monster, Whartone) :
Blending melodic, progressive sounds with influences from 80s electronica and classic house and techno, Richard Knott has released music on a number of influential labels including Pryda Friends, Whartone, Monster, and Baroque, with support from heavyweights such as Eric Prydz, Above & Beyond, Sonny Wharton, Jerome Isma-Ae, Paul Thomas, Jeremy Olander, Fehrplay and more. Hailing from Liverpool, Richard's early influences stem from the sounds of the Northern house scene in nights such as Cream, Circus, Back2Basics, Dirty Disco, and Tribal Sessions. Although it would be a lie to say Eric Prydz wasn't a major influence, you can hear inspiration in his music and DJ sets from an eclectic and intelligent spectrum of labels and artists. Richard is one to watch out for in 2014 with more UK and European DJ sets in the pipeline and plenty of unreleased music waiting to be unleashed.
The London based Swede Max (Shmacks) have played electronica and techno, house, on major clubs in sthlm such as; The Spy Bar, F12, Slakthuset ... aswell as in Guthenburg and London. During his studies in Australia he was frequently playing the decks under the sun, on a boat, or on a private sundeck. Producing alongside Jeremy Olander, Max's remixes and original tracks on soundcloud has gained alot of attention. When Djing, Max always brings exclusive edits and remixes to his otherwise mysterious and playful set. Dana Bergquist is a major influense on Max's sound and deep melodies are to be expected alongside heavy basslines.
ADG (Younger Recordings) :
The uprising and globally acclaimed artist ADG (Andrei Dogaru Gamalan) grew up in Stockholm Sweden, although his unique name comes from his parents who are originally Romanian. Because his school did not have a true club culture, Andrei was defined as a rebel at young age, listening to music not caring about people questioning his constant devotion. It did not stop him from continuing with his passion since music always was (and still is) about expressing himself as an artist.
Andrei is a transporter of minds and souls to a world of electronic music. His confident appearance is matched by a masterful control of a great mixing desk. A confident body language gives a visual indication of his music as he acts out each track. Andrei is a producer who relates to the profession as a diagnosis rather than a profession. He explains his statement by saying that music has to be a part of a person; you must dare to put yourself out there and expose your abilities. Andrei adds his own touch as he maximizes every beat of every track to create his unique sound where you can always feel the dance-floor going up a notch.
